Sutton's Paint Horses

We have been involved in horses one way or another almost all of our lives. We started in the Paint business in 1997 when we acquired Classy Bar McCue and a few Paint bred mares. Que has been our main sire since. We have since acquired JJ's Rugged Reward, a grandson of Rugged Lark, and Gay Bar Rebel, our homozygous sire. We have continued upgrading our brood mares and strive to maintain the disposition, ability, conformation and athleticism in our herd as we improved the pedigrees.

Our bloodlines include Kingfisher McCue, Buck McCue Jr, Delta Promise (Reserve World Champion), Rugged Painted Lark by the famous two time AQHA World Super Horse Champion... Rugged Lark, Peppy San Badger, Versary Bars, Doc Olena, Delta Olena, A summer Breeze, Midway Jet Pal, Citas Real Deal, Sonny Dee Bar, Call Me A Rebel and more.

God has truly blessed us with a great bunch of horses. They perform as good as they look. We try to raise high quality horses that are affordable. We recently started a foal give-away program for the local 4-H kids. It looks to be a good time for us and some lucky kid each year. We would like to share just a little of our treasure.

Sweet Grass Collections, Gayle, also makes a variety of attractive rope baskets. Great looking and high quality made from used ropes from real Montana Cowboys. She washes and sanitizes the ropes so they are as practical as they are beautiful.
